Is this an app for making weapons?
No. HeatTreat Bench is a metallurgy reference for hardening steel — knives, chisels, springs, tooling. It contains no weapon content or imagery and focuses entirely on the furnace and the steel.
Why should I trust your numbers over the supplier sheet?
We cite a source on every schedule and cross-check against published metallurgy and real tested results. Supplier sheets are a starting point; we tell you where each value came from and always recommend testing hardness on your own coupons.
Does it work offline in my shop?
Yes. The steel library and schedules live on-device, so everything works with no signal at the furnace.
Can I compare two steels?
Pro includes side-by-side comparison of austenitize, quench, and temper curves for any two alloys.
How do I restore Pro on a new phone?
Settings → Restore purchases while signed into the same Apple ID.
